Overstock Direct Mail FE Leads

No problem. Helps the thread if more talk about leads keeps going. $4 per lead Facebook leads. That's very inexpensive! Are they that much less quality than the regular priced ones?

The $4 leads are banner leads. They are path survey leads.

For example, say someone opts in to Amazon requesting deals associated with their likes, interests, past clicks, past purchases etc. They will then see ads tailored to them all over the web.

Maybe it's "Are you interested in diabetic supplies?" Yes no

Then are you interested in back braces? Yes no.

Are you interested in a quote for Final Expense Insurance? Yes no. (This could be the first/only ad they see sometimes.)

Once they click yes, they're redirected to a landing page, that's pre-populated from their initial opt in.

But on the bigger orders, we can add a question on how much coverage they want and ask them what their favorite hobby is.

On the big orders we can even add your LLC or DBA in the opt in language.

Then the leads would be API transmitted directly to your CRM or Email.

I could make and sell a Facebook lead at $4 by using Trip Valet.

Basically it offers them a free trip or vacation to opt in. Then on the lead ad form, you tell them a licensed life insurance agent will be contacting them shortly to go over their options.

It's like the digital marketing's version of a $5 Walmart gift card direct mail lead... but so much worse lol.

Those leads can cost as low as $1 to develop.

I'm not a big fan of targeting the final expense demographic with freebie offers and having the agent "pivot" to a life sale once they get a hold of them.

Can a solid agent do it successfully? Of course. But newbie and average agents will struggle.

As a wise man once said, "Leads are like tattoos, the good ones aren't cheap and the cheap ones aren't good."

But in the world of telesales, volume is almost as important as quality. So I get it.

But I'd still rather have someone opting in to a quote for life insurance or requesting info on the affordable life insurance programs to pay for their burial, than the freebie offer/bait and switch type lead.

Yeah I would have to assume that is way worse than the a Wal-Mart card lead. We have one agent in our entire agency that runs those. He insists on them. Thinks the are the best lead ever. Very often he has the highest production of the week too. It's not uncommon that he has $10,000+ week off 20 of those.

Which goes right with my theory: If you BELIEVE something is important, it is important. He believes that Wal-Mart card offer is important. Because he can set appointments with 100% of them.

Any agent running direct mail FE leads needs to check out existing inventory first. A lot of deals out there currently on direct mail you can have in your hands today. Check it out here: https://fexlead.com/

Newby surreptitiously hides the pricing all the way at the bottom of the page.

I wish you jokers would stop using the big words. Dictionary's are full of paper cuts you know. Very dangerous. I try to avoid.

But I agree I need to make the prices jump out a bit.

If you're on a smartphone, press down on the word until it is highlighted.

Then you will see "lookup." If you click on that it will give you the definition.

No more paper cuts.
