Is pain meds still a no go with med supp underwriting or has that changed?

In particular I have a few who take some form of hydrocodone

Just checking because things change but not holing out a ton of hope

Looks like UHC.

I might try that

Only issue I have is they sometimes bump up to level 2 rather then decline or given a person a chance to accept

instead I have to have them call and cancel

I don't know if I am not remembering correctly but I thought I ran into that with pain meds with them

But I am getting to the point I will probably try it for a couple of people with increasing premiums

At this time, things like hydrocodone can still be an issue with Medicare Supplement on a hardship basis. As many of you are aware things do change but probably it is better to not set your sights that high. Of course, it is still always wise to consult certain carriers more strictly as there may be differences in this regard.

I can't figure out the purpose of this bot. Is this an Insurance-Forums thing? If so, what is the desired result?

I doubt it's a forum thing. More like some rookie testing out his new AI thingy.

All I know is that it's not working.

All I want to do with one of these posts is reply No Shit Sherlock.

These bots read like Kevin, Sally, Mark, and Donna from India or the Phillipines sound on the phone. You don't fool us.........
