As a former agent of P&A, I am being contacted by numerous former agents and the rumor is that CMS and the various DOI's are out to get them. Problem is, it seems they are pursuing the agents to build their files. If you've ever sold for this rogue outfit-- get ready.

I so hope these guys get a cease and desist ... they have so much business I dont get renewals on. I cant imagine how many other brokers started out with these guys and got screwed over. I still service clients I dont get renewals on from years ago while they cash my checks month after month. Freakin losers.

If it is any consolation, I don't know of anyone that is getting their renewals from these tools. Several of us have been able to move a couple of our contracts because the carriers finally got fed up with their antics. That is the ONLY way they will release you. Now that they have run Medicare into the ground, they have shifted their efforts to MP and other stuff-- but without good results. They had a lot of agents spend nearly $1000 to get non-resident licenses and pay carrier fees to do telesales of FE-- only to have that flop too... Now that the DOI is after them, they are leaving "their" agents out to dry. I use the word "their" with reserve, because P&A will promise new agents the moon, then blast them with contracts only to abandon them when the going gets tough...

YEP! Sorry to have to break the news to you. You might as well go and start getting other contracts somewhere else. If there is a way to screw you these guys will find it!

There is bad news and good news. The bad news is that you are definitely screwed where you are at present. The good news is that you are on this forum. There are many good, honest, straight-shooting people on this forum (like Todd the previous poster) and you should be able to change directions without a big hassle.

The key is to get away from them as quickly as possible.
