Partnership HELP

Hi,

I have an insurance license to sell P&C insurance. I will be selling the insurance. The partner is a real estate broker that will be giving me all of the companies leads to sell homeowners insurance. The broker does not have an insurance license. He will not be selling insurance.

My question is, does the real estate broker have to have an insurance license to be a legal partner?
