PCIP Extended Through January - BREAKING News

So, my client calls PCIP to verify extension. It slips out that she bought a new plan already. She is then told that since she bought a new plan, which is not yet effective, she can NOT continue on PCIP. What a mess.........

Sounds like they're actually following the letter of the law. They're really good at that when it benefits them. Just look at the IRS.

I think what she meant to say was that she "thought" she bought a plan but in reality did not;-)
