Man....if you can not beat them you have to join them.....that's how I got into selling Unicare.....hahahahaha....but anyway......dang the rates are good....rates are better than the Texas High Risk Health pool.....and have three clients that qualify for this.....Had one today that I told her to phone in a application with HUMANA ONE to get a quick dissension.... bam decline.....so phones in the application with PCIP and she gets a reference number for the case and I put that in a letter and bam.....a whopping $100 fee....but you know what....IF that was their best deal that's what they get.......so karma is good....but how long will this last....this plan was only $10 more than the HUMANA $2500 deductible plan.....in 2014 do they go away.....who knows.....but for now if that is my leads best opinion I will work to get them in......have three this week going in.......check out these rates....

All I can say is that in Texas you're very fortunate to have access directly to the PCIP Federal Government plan. The company that's administering it for the FED's seems to be doing a great job.

In Illinois, PCIP is administered by an understaffed, under-trained, lazy, inept, department run by greedy crooks. They accepted $7million dollars to administer the PCIP on the state level. Renamed it IPXP and set up a website incomprehensible. Less than 200 people state-wide have been enrolled. The two that I helped submit died in processing, because IPXP kept asking for more stuff, or the same stuff over and over. The clients finally said F-it after 6 months.

I've told people who are declinable to apply there, but I won't help them and don't want the referral fee. I know what a clusterf&ck it will be, and I don't want that reflecting on me and my business.

Same here.

Don't want any part of it.

Don't want the govt knowing any more about me than they do already.

And yes, I am paranoid. Got a card and t-shirt to prove it.

so none of y'all have ever help some one get into the risk pool because that was their only option.......

I send folks to PCIP all the time. Don't want any money for it. If it blows up, not my problem. If they can't find a doc, not my problem.

And I don't have HHS & IRS following up to make sure I dotted all the i's and crossed the t's.
