Looking for software that converts non-fillable pdf to fillable pdf, prefer software for mac but could use windows based since I'm running parallels. Acrobat is just too steep a price.

This software will help you create a fillable PDF document. It's not as good as Acrobat, but it'll do the job. For $20, you can't expect perfection. I've been using this software for a few years now.

Another vote for Nitro...PDF Pro 7 is an awesome time saver. Unless you get a company like Sentinel Life who I found out today only accepts "hand written apps".

Hand written apps or wet signatures. I can't fathom an isurance company that frowns on typed applications considering how poor some agents handwriting can be.
