These new rules have my head spinning! CMS says we can't have a sales event within 12 hours of an educational event at the same location. I have an educational event scheduled at an apartment complex. I also have a few prospects at these apartments who are ready to enroll. Can I schedule their appointments on the same day as my educational event, immediately prior to my educational event, which would take place in the community room? I don't know if a personal/marketing appointment is considered a sales event, but I'm trying to avoid making two trips.
