I have experience in the business. I did well last year and was trained by some top agents. I know the grind and how to work this market. Used to write 150-300 a week.
That said I do not want to invest 750-800 a week again for 25 leads and hotel and gas cost. I used to be out of town 2-3 nights a week. I found some call lists I can get and am considering going full time calling these lists and then also getting out and talking to people on final expense and life. The list has people within 3 counties of my home so I can be home every night with my family. The list is 55-80 with 0-30000 income. I am hoping to make 3-4 a month before tax and expenses. I am looking at 90-105 percent contracts vs the 75 percent I had before.
The question is how realistic is my goal. I do not have a lot of saving and need it to work fast. I would be working off the 9 month draw to start with hopes to get to paid as earned down the road. I just feel if I did it with old leads I can make it this way. Thanks

Also I have a full time job now and could try and do the final expense a day a week to try it out or I could do something part time to help with bills. The goal is to be independent of the previous company and do my own thing at a higher commission. Tired of the daily grind at a subpar job. 2000 a month pays my bills so it seems I only need to write 75-100 a week to get by to start.
