Phyiscians Mutual

I took two different tours with them. They are excellent, top notch. They quit doing brokerage, so it's career or nothing.
They have no MA, and write supps, and are against MA. They have good life products, good LTC. The underage limited benefit plan for health runs circles around UA. Good training. Leads are just OK, not great. Bonuses are great. Right of first refusal contract, so you can have other appointments. I cannot say anything really bad about them. A great place for a newbie to go and get trained, and maybe stick around.

I ultmiatetly decided to pass on PM and I will tell you why. They are strictly offering contracts through their semi-captive division no more brokerage contracts, unless you previously had one.

They probaly do have some great trainnng especially if you would like to learn the "in's and out's" of Long Term Care and Medicare. I also found out they had also had the most expensive medicare supplement I have ever seen, so they are pushing "brand name" in the med supp market big time.

In my area and the rest of the "mid-south" they are pushing their Hopsital Medical and Surgical plan to the underage health market.

I can't remember when, but I've looked at them before they went captive only and their supps weren't even in the top ten as far as price. I've killed a few in Kansas that were healthy enough, but had to leave one or two.

I worked for PM about 15 years ago and loved it, made convention ever year. Left to pursue other things. Went back to then in April of this yr and stayed about 3 weeks. Plenty of leads to work. Just wasn't going to work for me this time around.
