This is off the topic of this thread but I don't remember where we discussed AOR changes.

Wanted to to do an AOR change with Oxford this week. They wouldn't allow it. So I'm now the AOR for the lady with a different company.:laugh:

From what I have seen in the TV documentaries, I think they use drugged snakes. Most of the current snakes handlers are in Eastern TN, KY and VA, in the mountains.

There are very few snake handlers. It is just that the Scotch-Irish/Borderlanders are the only group in America who are allowed to be made fun of while still being PC.

Don't know about drugged but I think most only use snakes that accustomed to being handled. Even, then occasinaolly a handler will be bitten. I think it was in North GA that a preacher died last year after being bitten and refusing medical treatment.
