Production Report when Working with Wholesalers or MGAs

For those aspiring to get appointed with P&C carriers in the future but working through another agency to access the markets, how can you get production reports including loss ratios from the wholesaler etc., what is your experience when asking for this piece of info? or is there another way to show your production numbers?

I'm not sure but I was literally just searching the forums for that answer. If i find something I will share the link but hopefully someone with experience in this area could add to the discussion.
