Question About AAA HO-3 in CA.

Hello all, quick question on AAA homeowners coverage in California. I am quoting (I'm an agent obviously) against a current AAA HO-3 policy with Travelers, SafeCo, etc. I'm coming in at a higher replacement cost AND lower premium. But the current AAA policy states "Guaranteed Replacement Cost"! Everyone else offers additional 150% replacement. How can I shoot this (AAA) coverage or policy paper down? Anybody have any experience with this coverage, or if it sounds too good to be true? Thanks.

I represent themin Florida (might nit be of help to you) and they include the additional coverage a endorsement on every policy. They also use iso homevalue which comes in lower for the rc just about everytime. But anyway in Florida atleast the policy does not read guaranteed rc. I hope this helps you. My next bet to shoot it down is to grab the ambest ratings I think aaa is only a- while travelers might be a+. Don't quote me on that though it's been awhile since I looked it up.

Must be an old AAA policy. I don't believe their current policies (last 20 years???) offer guaranteed replacement value.

Yes, it would be great to write this, but if the client is hung up on this, then move on.

Dan
