One thing I like about Lincoln Heritage is that you always know (Via email ) exactly where your deal is in the system. I was wondering if other companies like EFES or Securus or any other ones do that as well?

Lh is not an IMO. They are an insurance company. And most company's will email you with notification of the application being received, and will provide you a policy number

Oh , OK you are right. I just hate having to log in to multiple different websites but it is really not that big of a deal.
Thanks for answering though.

Yeah, if u hate loggin in to multiple sites....EFES isnt for you!! I dont like it, but I'll take that ANYDAY over getting my biz replaced!

But hey, thats me!! :goofy:

The key for me is to mainly sell companies that give an approval at the point of sale (5-Star, RNA, Settlers, American Continental, ForeThought, etc.)

That way I know when the appointment is done that the policy is approved and will be issued. I just need to remember to fax it.

Monumental is the main company I use that doesn't do this and I hate that about them.

I rarely check any websites for pending deals. I just watch for the policy to arrive.

I have a question about RNA Ive been meaning to ask forever, but kept forgetting....

Is there a scenario in where RNA approves it on the phone, but its not issued? Im not referring to anything missing on the app or anything the agent did wrong....I mean do they review it again & can it be declined later?

Since I never knew the answer to that....I always tell clients "You're approved, but it takes another 3-4 biz days to get issued while they review everything, and its not finalized til its issued!"

Foresters will get you sometimes after the POS approval. Had at least 6 or 7 times last year where they would want records because the client hesitated on responding to a question, or didn't hear the question and started to answer yes then corrected themselves and responded no.

Not sure if either the apptical interviewer makes a note when that happens, or if someone at Foresters listens to the entire 20 minute phone call (which would explain why it takes them forever to issue a "certificate")

Could you imagine listening to those calls all day every day?

I had one case with RNA right after they started doing the POS phone interview where they gave us the approval but 2-hours later they called me back and said they were withdrawing the approval due to a mistake they made on one of her medications. this was a huge problem because in the meantime she already called and canceled another company's policy she had gotten approved on from a different agent.

I called the biggest gun for RNA that I know (Travis Tubbs who writes an S-load of RNA business) and he had it fixed in 15-minutes.

Sometimes it helps to have friends in high places.
