Quoting Client then They Go Direct

Had one this week that progressive direct online was 100 cheaper than my quote with them was.

Ended up selling him on a different carrier bundled with his home for more money than the progressive direct but had more benefits

I've had two that did this to me and they really stood out from the crowd. In the first case, the lady contacted me about a med supp, since her husband had an Rx with me. We went through everything over the phone, and once she was satisfied, she hung up and called the carrier to do a direct enrollment. The next day she called to do an Rx with me, which I declined.

The best one I've had and I'll probably never get to see this again. I had a lady call me as a referral to do a Med Supp. We went over every carrier, plan in the book. Next thing I hear from her is she needs to do her Rx..okay, what happened? She said that she did the plan directly, and was sorry. I liked her, so we did the Rx.

During Fall OE, she decided, after all of the TV commercials that she needed Humana Medicare...we went through the plans in her area in painstaking detail 2x. The day we were to do the application, she asked me about cancelling her Med Supp. I told her that she could call to do that, after we enrolled in the MAPD...she had already enrolled...I spoke to her at 8:00 PM the night before and it was 9:30 AM. She had called them 30 minutes before our appointment.
