RE: Former UGA/Cornerstone Managers READ THIS

I have a mortgage broker buddy who blew out of selling insurance. Talk about that company abusing the independent contractor rule! He has to show up at the office very day and is expected to work 10 hour days. There's no base pay - he's a straight 1099'd contractor. I don't think he's ready to turn them in since he's making over $250,000 a year:-)
 
In my former incarnation as an IRS Revenue Officer we used to kick ass at barber shops, beauty shops, and gas stations that tried to put their employees on "independent contractor" status to avoid withholding taxes and payng 1/2 of the FICA. Geez...know you know why I prefer to remain anonymous.:twitchy:
