Really stuck on a major decision

Dexes, pm me if you want. I went from SF to independent, and transitioned over time in to 100% commercial. Everything I've brought in the last few years are referral and word of mouth, and business is good. I'd be happy to chat with you and give you some input. Other people have helped me succeed, and I'm always happy to give back. That's mostly why I am on this forum.

LA is tough for(comp) commercial but high premiums. Carriers that don't have territory debit mods do well there. I would imagine it being very hard for a captive to compete here.

The one captive agent agent I know writes large majority outside of LA. State Farm is more competitive anywhere but LA
