Yes. And you check the box as a yes. It's on the r911 apps. I never paid much attention to the r411 apps. I assume it's on there too.

Hmm...my apps are r511 but the TIA is most likely the same.

Yes. It's on page 2 of the manual.

Death Benefit
The Death Benefit payable at the Insured's death will be equal to the in force coverage amount on date of death, less any premiums due and any unpaid loan balances plus interest due.

An Emergency Death Benefit equal to 50% of the death benefit and payable within 24 hours of 5Star Life's receipt of notification of the insured's death, unless the death is within the contestability period and/or under investigation. This Emergency Death Benefit will be deducted from the total coverage amount.

It's a conditional receipt. It's temporary insurance. It's like what Foresters does with their term and what Chase used to do.

Does it say anywhere that the TIA is active at time of app not at draft. Probably not a biggie but a nice feature to point out at closing.
