That's actually the first time his attempt at humor was actually funny. I had to wait until his very last sentence to realize he was joking all along.

Not joking at all. I'm sorry this went over your head. 100 years ago if someone said man would fly like a bird (in a machine that weighs tons no less) people would have laughed. Before calculators if someoine said you don't need a pencil and paper to add numbers, a machine will be able to do it, people would laugh. If 20 years ago an agent said he could quote a lot of carriers on a simple tool (FEX), agents would have laughed. If 50 years ago it was said that AI would be on the assembly line at automobile manufacturing plants some people would have laughed. And so on.

So that means the agent as we know it will die out over the next 10-20 yrs .Look at pharmaceutical sales reps . The hottest job in the world in the 80's , 90's and early 2000's . Basically non existent now as far as reps hitting drs offices . Very very few fe guys "net " $150 k in fyc . I think the days of writing $50 a month premiums are over . To cover increased costs and inflation you got to be asking for $75-$90 a month mins . People's ss checks have risen 16% the last 3 yrs . Funerals are 25% higher .

I don't know what it means. But yes I do think FE agents will be gone in 30+ years, not necessarily 10-20. But who knows? Telesales already generates higher premiums that the traditional face to face. And higher premiums help agents keep up with inflation and lead costs rising and rising. Does that mean face to face will become almost nonexistent because of smaller commissions when compared to telesales? Will face to face and outbound dialing fall by the wayside as more and more people don't pick up for phone #'s they don't recognize, nor answer door knocks where they don't recognize the door knocker because of smart door bells?

Live TV transfers came on the scene to overcome these new obstacles just mentioned. Much more efficient and allows us to get more presentations in a 40 hour work week.

Your ex of a pharmaceutical sales rep is a good analogy. Industries evolve over time and the FE industry is no different. I still predict AI wil be taking live transfers in the future, when they can mimic a human being perfectly.

But wait! JD will be up here shortly saying that we're talking about the sky is falling and we're talking about the doomsday for FE agents...lol.

As always I'm living rent free in your head.

But you don't need me. You can make up your own facts all by yourself.

And anyone that can read can figure that out on their own.

They are not talking about AI just "killing" off agents but destroying the entire human race.

Sales is persuasion. If a prospect says, "I want to thing about it...", do you really believe they will continue to sit there waiting for a robot to overcome their objection(s)?
I was seriously hoping you were joking.

Interesting banter going on here . . .

FE is not my market but FWIW I do share a lot of "FREE, no questions asked" information via DM and social media. Prospects are free to read and watch my information and videos if they want to gain solid, general topic information.

But if they have specific questions, they have to call me. If they pose a question on the public platform I respond with a general information reply and invite them to contact me direct if they have a question.

@Baseball7 , you have more patience than I would. It reminds me of a kid repeatedly asking the parent to buy them a toy or piece of candy.

You are the authority on asking, answering questions on the forum.

Do you know who sent this to me in a PM ?

Hi,
Just wanted to provide some insight on the type of leads Loyal Insurance offers as an agent. They offer leads that look very similar to need-a-lead. It does not state life insurance on the card, and it makes prospect add their name, spouse, age (not date of birth), address, and phone number. Basically, it says as a resident of ____, you are entitled to more benefits not provided by gov funds. You now have access to new benefits that can pay final expense. Along those lines. I'm super unhappy with pricing of the leads. They are $36. They are direct mail exclusive, but since they don't have agents to work them, they are aged and I was super pissed that they couldn't give me the fresh leads already coming in instead of the almost a year old leads considering the price and being told they were fresh.
