From my data I've noticed telesales agents running at about 15 percent lower compared to the same product sold in the field.

I think DigitalBGA has data showing their agency's telesales persistency is as high or higher than tradition F2F agencies with the same carriers, e.g. LBL DBGA compared to LBL F2F Agency.

Telesales or F2F, the better trained agents will have higher persistency than the new recruits who were simply thrown against the wall to see if they'd stick or not.

Jd you'll be my first recruit . Tv leads so expensive because viewership dying . By the millions people cutting the cord . When I see 100's of my clients showing up on my Facebook as possible friends I know the future . These are people that are uneducated. What happens when the all the people 40-50 are 60-80 ? All digital leads .The next future more use of software to block unknown calls . Some of my clients have and I can't get in touch with them . Dm as we know it will be obsolete generally speaking in 10 yrs . With the crazy speed of technology were heading to a world of screening unwanted contact .

Based on the data from my own agency I have seen an increase in premium size. $64 a month for field sales and $84 a month for telesales.

I don't attribute that to a different sophistication level of the clients though. I believe that the lower closing ratios and lengthened sales process makes the agents chase higher premiums. I also believe the higher premiums cause the persistency to be even lower. From my data I've noticed telesales agents running at about 15 percent lower compared to the same product sold in the field.

And id certainly agree with persistency being substantially lower in telesales . Although Jeff Root would disagree with that .Example I had 2 first yr nsf's I saved in person . I called 5 times and they never answered . Many won't answer the phone . This is just speculation about the future . We continue doing what we do until it doesn't work . But it's important to have your eyes open and detect change and adjust .

Don't they have a business preserve / conserve dept.?

#1 reason I like to door knock.

That is an advantage. It's inefficient as hell. But I'm ok with that at this point.

I put my leads in folders by county. I've got 15 now. Every folder is pretty full.

I decide where I'm going mostly by where I have policies to deliver. But also if I have a referral I'll make an appointment with them and carry that county folder with me and the counties I drive thru to get there.

If I feel like DK'ing I will. If I don't I won't.

I don't work anything like I used to.

But my production has stayed pretty steady. '22 was my best year ever.

Won't do you any good to recruit me. I'll tell you the same thing I tell the others, there is nothing you could offer to get me to leave FEX.

I don't have a contract with FEX but I do have a handshake and a good faith agreement.

Next Wednesday, the 14th, marks my 10th year with FEX.

There will be no other IMO in my career.
