Resident License Question

can i take a resident license exam outside of the resident state? For instance, if I live and will have my resident license in TX, can I take the exam in GA since I am in GA for the next couple of months until I go back to Texas. I've been in GA for about 6 months temporarily.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but why can't you go back to TX and take it there? I believe you need to take the exam on where you reside (like on your driver's license). Call the state DOI and ask them, but they will likely tell you the same as they ask for your driver's license upon taking the exam.
