In all fairness & my defense, if you look back on the order of these posts I didn't post crap like this randomly out of nowhere. I only did after you went on a rant about the forum, its members & spoke derogatorily about my brothers & sisters on the forum. Had this conversation been a black tie Hollywood award show, I would have likely walked up & slapped you for your mean words towards the many feeble forum members. Again, I would have never commented had you not brought this outdated post back up by making mean comments.
Now that we have cleared this matter up, can we air hug & go back to being strangers

I did dinner seminars to sell funeral insurance back quite a few years ago. It was way more successful than I expected. But I mailed invitations to an in house list. Meaning relatives of people who had funerals of a parent, spouse or sibling within the past 5-years.
I mailed 300 invitations. Got 35 people in attendance. Sold 90% of them within a month and 100% of them within 6-months.
I had it in a conference center that was often rented out for financial dinner/seminars and I know I had some plate lickers in the crowd because I heard them all buzzing when the desert was brought out. I had opted for the extra $1.50 per person for the upgraded desert, peach cobbler. When I heard them all buzzing about I had paid for peach cobbler I thought Shit! This is a room full of plate-lickers. How else would they even know that was an upgrade?
But plate-lickers or not, they all bought. My average ticket per household was $22,000 (couples) or $11,000 (singles) so not annuity money but people able to write a sizable check.
It’s been 15-years since I’ve done anything like that. I have no idea what the dinner/seminar field is like today. But my gut feeling is it got over saturated about 10-years ago and it’s died down now and probably a great time to do them.

Hey jerk off bring it. I did not bring the post back someone else did. Read the follow up post. I got an email that read there was a response. You did not answer the question and did exactly as I stated with an almost perfect extrapolation of one of the six idiots needing validation. If you can't answer that is okay and preferable to the meandering mindless bullshit that constitutes content that you post.

I do share your opinion of the forum in general at times. I do not look for much here. Nobody is going to share information here that helps others compete against them. The whole forum is kind of a sham in that sense. No need to attack a person that responds with some humor. Sometimes you get a nugget here an there out of all the meandering.
This forum would not exist without meandering mindless BS. I would take up your concerns with the owner but not attack those that have no control.
