RingCentral

I've been using it for a long time. I have my home phone system and two offices in two states all tied together. It works good.

Except Tubbs can't hear me sometimes. I don't know what that's all about.

Selective hearing....My wife has that problem too but with her its when I am standing next to her not on the phone.

I have been with them for a year now. 3 users & fax love it. I pay with tax about $100 a month.

Phone.com seems to be another good option. The phones I'm using right now are RingCentral branded under another name, and I've been using them for about 3 years I think? They've been great. I'm switching over to phone.com because I'm going to go more mobile and use a softphone, and phone.com seems to be little more flexible in how much you can mess around with your setup, and ever so slightly lower priced..

I have been using them for about 2 1/2 yrs. Had some initial issues in the beginning but overall has been pretty reliable. How strong your internet connection is plays a big role. I have 4 lines. Not sure what the one post was referring to on adding lines for $5. I spend about $150/month. Each line you pay the $25 plus taxes. The system has a ton of features.

Looking at ring central for my VOIP setup. The monthly price also comes with free faxing. Looking at the 24.99 plan per user for 2 users. So not a bad deal. I was looking through some old threads and it has both good and bads things to said about Ring Central. Anyone currently using them and how is it? Thanks.

I think they mean you can add a number for $5. It's the line (or unlimited user) that cost $25. So you could have say, a local and an 800 number that both forward to the same line. Or local phone numbers is 2 or 3 (or more) cities that all forward to the same line (or set of lines).

I will be getting 20 mb down and 5 up. It will only be for one/two lines and I will also use the connection for a dialer. Anyone know if that is good enough based on their experience?

I set my wife's business up with 8 lines on RingCentral and mine up with a 4 line system. We've been with them since 2008 and have been very happy with the quality and the service.
