RNA? Final Expense Makeover?

Also making the change to a "Non-Commissionable" policy fee...

R.I.P Royal Neighbors... We had a good run... You will be missed!!!

Why is that the deal breaker? Even with the changes, rate increase certain classes(wait and see??), 5% decrease in commission, and non commissionable policy fee. If the rates are good they are easy to deal with and a super easy app.

Things I don't like. I hate when a draft is requested it doesnt happen on that date(I haven't had issues with any other company). Well that is the only thing I don't like. I would be willing to bet that part of the changes are due to the fact that fe customers need a bunch of hand holding. I have quit selling them to people who tell me they go and get all their money out of the bank the day it is deposited.

I could grumble about the 36 month lookback on stents or the fact that they won't consider coreg as a bp maintenance med...

Won't IMO's like EFES just bring in another company?

Securus is heavy into pushing American Memorial with the same non-commisionable policy fee.

What is the deal with Securus being so into American Memorial?

As bad as I take the news now I think the news will be worse when we get it officially. As I sad, we got the sugarcoated version and the spin. RNA has over 9000 contracted agents. Less than 40 of that 9000 made the trip to Costa Rica. I can understand that they did want to turn that trip into a weeklong bitch session so they just mentioned enough to bring some order to the rumors. The shat will hit the fan next week.

While this won't be good for EFES I can't see how it will have huge impact on their business. If this males more EFES agents write Americo it will be great for EFES. They would prefer that agents write Americo.

EFES agents will just write other companies if RNA is not a viable option going forward.

EFES is in business because of and about the leads, not because of their companies.

As long as agents need leads then a lead IMO like EFES will survive and thrive.

Good to know I was only 1 of about 8960 agents who didnt make it also!

But for EFES, I cant see (without making changes) how offering RNA & Americo as their top 2 carriers is going to attract or even maintain top FE producers. Those are the 2 they want you to write most....Yet after June 10th both will be decent options, but nothing special & 1 (Americo) wont pay EFES agents renewals on retail biz! Esp since heavy hitters like Travis hate Americo...im sure hes not alone.

Somethings gotta change....and Im sure it will, at least I hope!

I don't know that RNA is company that EFES likes to promote. The agents wanting to write RNA is what drives that.

As for Americo and the renewals, most agents like the extra 1st year commission. I am only one of a handful that argues with Rick Wolfe about the Americo renewal deal.

Americo is EFES' favorite company. I would bet they are happy that Americo will be getting more business.

I'm referring to the initial paperwork I filled out with EFES.... It said something to the affect of RNA & Americo are their primary carriers & Monumental, Foresters, UHL, etc are their secondary carriers. I think it also said u should try to send most of your biz to the primary carriers, if I'm not mistaken... But it's been awhile.

Must be manager specific. I never signed anything like that or have ever even seen anything like that from EFES.

When I started with them they were pushing AmAm and Americo. Oxford may come back up the food chain now with the RNA changes.

RNA's story is that everyone is going to do this because everyone has to refile this year. I don't know if that's true but that's their story. They said that once everyone refiles then they will maintain their order among the FE companies.

I didn't buy that story last week and I'm still not on board with it.

I have been hearing that same BS about everyone filing since last year, and have yet to see anything major come down the pike. I guess we will see.

It appears that RNA is going from the Penthouse to the doghouse this year. Thankfully, I have several companies and will now be looking for a better low rate carrier. That might just be Oxford.

I believe I will be making a call to Settlers and see if I can get a bump and start producing more with them.

You know I have never been a fan of "Policy Fees" but for an insurance company to charge MY client a fee and turn around and say we are not paying you any commission on this tells me Loud and Clear......... We like ****ing our agents!

Someone please post a list of FE companies that do not pay commission on policy fees.
