So if a senior currently has a medicare supplement plan and wants to change from an F plan to say a G plan. Can they do so at any time of the year?

And for Part D:
If they have a Part D plan already and want to change, can they only change during OE.

A Med Supp can be changed at any time as long as the person can get through underwriting (for those states who don't have a GI rule like the birthday rule).

PDP can only be changed during AEP unless they have a life event that would qualify them for a SEP (i.e. - moved out of service area of existing plan - there are other qualifying events, but this is a common one).

This is what makes selling Med Supps year round possible
