Just flipping around on the net and ran across an IMO that said Sagicor had great Final Expense rates. Anyone know about this company?
I did check back with the IMO. Said it was actually No-Lapse GUL with no cash value accumulation. Rate for 65 year old female non-smoker $30.99 per month.

What is the coverage amount.......while your at it, how much would be $30,000 for a 65/M smoker.
right now he just signed up for NyLife through Aarp, 30k for 66/M goes up when he hits 65 to 80 some and again every 5 years.
...That's going to be an interesting trick. Going from age 66 to 65.

I don't have AARP's rate for $30,000 but for $25,000 your guy would pay $56/mo. At age 65 it would go to $74/mo. At 70 it would go to $106/mo. They are ashamed to publish what it goes to at age 75. His coverage ends at age 80 and a day.
His policy should show you the rates for the $30,000.
If non smoker he could get $30,000 whole life from RNA for $89/mo. Surely you can do better for him than that term policy?
Yea, I was asking the poster of this forum what the rate would be with Sagicor. Unfortunately, he is a smoker. In FL, those term rates are a bit higher on AARP through NYL. He is paying 66 now, and 3 years at 65 he will be paying 88. It sounds like a good deal up front tell you read the fine print on these plans, most surely don't know what they just got!
