Just wondering if anyone has heard of a newer company called Sagicor. Someone contacted my business partner today and offered us a contract with some decent looking products. So, does anyone have any experience with them. If you have a better contract with them, we'd like to talk. Contact me via email or pm.

I would give them some time to adapt to the US market before spending a lot of time and energy. So far they are not competitive, at least according to my criteria. If a company can't show up in the top 5-10 consistently across their product spectrum, they have some work to do.

They are very well known internationally, but I foresee a problem with clients who have never heard of Genworth or Banner accepting a company that really has no history in the US.

A local guy I know if marketing for them, sent me some comparison quotes against AIG and Genworth -- term insurance and ROP. They looked really good so I sent my contracting paperwork in to them, then I got the actual rates, somewhere along the line things changed.

I have received some more info on their products from corporate. Looks good to me. Rates look competitive. Certainly not bottom of the barrel. Still looking for someone with a top-notch contract on this one.

Certainly not trying to be argumentative, but I ran a few sample quotes on this website and then compared it to the actual software and found several discrepancies. So, I would agree with your "don't trust anyone" and add "run the quote on your own updated-company-provided-illustration software.
