Seems like a silly question, but I've never run a Saturday appointment. What carriers have their POS interviews running during Saturdays?

Does FB and AmCon?

Me and Al talked about having FB/Trinity do Saturday PHI's today. As of now they don't BUT if they have enough agents to write 20-30 apps on a Sat they will do it.

Aetna and Foresters does

Sounds like a catch 22.. They won't do POS until they can get agents to write 30-30 apps on a Sat but agents won't / can't write 20-30 apps until they have somebody to do the POS on Sat.

He wants a commitment of 20-30 apps for a Sat

I realize that but just becasue agents make "commitments" doesn't mean they will carry through. The best way to get them committed is to put in place, announce, "We are open for business" , incentivize it and push the hound out of it.

I haven't started selling FE yet, but next weekend I am starting. With my current situation I'm going to be running appointments on Saturdays and Sundays. I didn't really think about the fact that most carriers dont do PHI on weekends. Anyone downside to having the PHI done later on instead of at POS?

If they turn them down and you're not there you have to make another trip, and they might've changed their mind by the time you get there.
