Say Goodbye to MoO & United of Ohama in CA

So I got the word today that Mutual/United of Omaha is leaving the California market at the end of this month. They will be re-introducing a new product at a later date which I'm guessing will be way more expensive.

The sad part about this to me is that MoO offered the last NTQ product in Cali.

All California has to do is approve the current filing.

Keep in mind, policyholders who elect to pay the (19.5%) increased premium will still pay less than Mutual Care Plus (LTC09M) and the United LTCi Solutions (LTC09U) policies sold today.

I've been told that brokers will no longer be able to sell MoO's LTC policies - only career agents.

Told by who? When is this suppose to become effective? Just CA., or everywhere?
