Scope of Appointment Agreement - Coventry Translation

Just want to make sure I understand what your saying.

1. Suggestion, lie on the form.

2. moral agent has nothing to worry about.

one comment the rabbi is right!

I'm not sure but I think I understand!

My FMO for Coventry is Senior Market Sales and they just emailed me a generic SAC form very similar to the one you emailed me. In fact I was just getting ready to email it to you because it is only one page.

Do you still want it ?

Hank, I got that one also from Coventry. I am going to use the generic form so that I am not restricted to talking about one plan. I am sure that each company will have their own so that in their thinking you can just talk about their plan. Humana's rules look ridiculous and I doubt I will do any of their plans[/font]

But thanks:)

I'm glad Coventry is weak in my area. And in close situations I'll place elswhere.

They always over react and read into these things. I have a bunch of Coventry people whom are being contacted by Coventry because they owe for two years of back premiums. For a couple that could add up to $5000.00. What a mess. They are so dis-organized. As Frank would say "I'm holding back"! I will avoid Coventry's MA / MAPD's and place PDP only for 2009.

Coventry is one of the best rated plans for my area.... closely followed by Wellcare and then Today's Options. MAPD plans are needed here because most people can not or will not spend for a med sup. And they are very well excepted by the medical community.

I would never suggest that you lie on any form, but you have to adapt to what CMS is throwing out there. How you adapt is what is going to separate the good agents from the bad agents. Remember, CMS is not your friend.

patch36 is that a zero as in zero premium or is it an "O"? And what does that say under the number or letter? I tryed blowing it up, but can't make it out.

And for those of us burning the midnight oil for the AEP, well, I kinda like scottfree's broken alarm clock. I could of done that to my clock this morning!

Midwestbroker has moved up to a racer and greensky has got some kinda Medicare card looking thing going on. Man I wish I had a little more time to put my Zero Premium Guy up.

:D

It will only be a couple of days before you have a recording device hooked up with your cellular telephone.
You can read the script, and get the answer recorded,
save it for ten years, and go to the appointment
your incoming caller requested & agreed to.?.

Where is the thread to tell us agents who have never entered AEP just exactly what you do to prepare well for it.
Besides checking the rules. What do you do to generate your leads besides contacting your current clients?

Since Curly did not win, I figured it was time to move on...

However the Formula 1 season just ended to a great last race, so that is my tribute to it.

If you are new to AEP, you will have to do this:

Certify with one or more MA / PDP carriers who will go over what you can and cannot do.

Finding leads is the trick. No cold calling MA or PDP prospects. If you are talking to a potential client about other products, you have a 48 cooling off period and have to have a scope of appointment form signed prior to the appointment.

Getting those potential clients to talk to you is the fun part. If you have marketing office / corp offices for MA carriers in your area (We have Sterling, Coventry and Humana here), they have been hitting the market since Oct 1 so you need to jump start your efforts. You can send out reply cards but their mailboxes are filling up with offers. If you have no past clients, no marketing in place, you might want to find a IMO that offers leads...

Thanks Midwest. I have some SNP clients, but am used
to having leads from FMO.

Now I need to make sure I don't get stuck without
any on AEP. I was hoping when the 15th comes around there would be plenty coming .

I just found out I have a few more tests to take so maybe that will start some new leads.
