Sebelius Bails

I was a little early on my prediction as I made this call when the senate overturned the filibuster rule a couple months ago, allowing the administration to appoint people with just a 50 vote threshold.

I'll miss her, she definitely aged with all of the stress.

Yes, but first you have to get 50 Senators to vote for your appointee...

This sounds for a litmus test for just how toxic this is viewed by the Senators up for re-election.

She quit. So what? America shuts down over the resignation of a homely, grey haired ex-Governor of Kansas?

Y'all will be broke by the time you figure out that you may be right, but it ain't gonna make any difference!

Right, wrong or indifferent, the federal government is going to have more influence on health insurance, be it under 65, Medicare Advantage, or (gasp!) Medicare supplement! It's been apparent (for those who aren't blinded by ignorance) since 2008! Six years is really more than enough time to adjust...

I'm all for challenging the status quo, but good gawd, there's a lot of insurance to be sold that's not under federal regulation.

It's way past time to get over it.

What a rant. Where did you pull any of this from what I wrote. All I see are tangents. And I've done very well selling gov't sponsored insurance over the past 10 years, so your doom and gloom must be jealousy that you didn't participate.

Clearly the guberment will eventually take over all health insurance and we'll have to move on. I'm very cool with selling cancer and CI policies and would transition to this very easily.

My issue isthat many of these a-holes that have promoted this crap have bailed. Well, all but Harry "I got rich legally" Reid and Nancy "Botox Babe" Pelosi. Unfortunately, we're also still stuck with Obummer.

Is it too late for me to be a male prostitute? (Damn, I hope that's not too vulgar.)

Your bold (?) prediction that Ms. Sebillius would resign (back in November it was?) is worth what? That you get to be right?

No, it's that Bob and XRAC owe me dinner. I'm too skinny, and was counting on a steak meal.

When I made the original post, it was based on the dems throwing out the nuclear option, which opened up the door for political appointees, and she was on the top of the list. It was better odds than the black/red bet at the roulette table.
