Actually, I don't think you can be appointed to sell FE with both. I've tried it before, unless something has changed.

The official rule with the powers that be at TransAmerica are:
1. You can't dual contract. If you already have monumental, TransAmerica or StoneBridge you can't get another of them.
2. Sometimes you can.
3. You can't cancel your contract with one and pick up another one.
4. Unless you are leaving Securus. Then you can but only if you are moving to select FMOs
5. Sometimes none of the above rules apply.
Now, is everyone clear?

It's very clear cut really. I don't know how anyone gets confused.
This is exactly my experience with them. And they explain it just the same to me when I ask. Just when you think you understand it, tomorrow is a different rule!
