Excuse me for not calling my carriers, but they are closed for the evening.

I have a potential client who has had seizures in the past. He is taking the following meds to control them. Dilantin, phenobarbitral, and Keppra. Neither of my companies has a med guide that I can find to give me the decline drugs,(Monumental & Forethought)

My carriers applications ask if he has had more than12 seizures in the past two years (answer is no) the meds must be working.

does anyone think he will be eligable for anything but a graded policy?

Thanks,

SD

Maybe RNA simplified issue coverage. What state is he in? height/weight? Has he been treated for any other conditions aside from the seizures? Does he take any other medications?

Monumental is the only one I know that SPECIFICALLY accepts seizures as long as they are under a certain number. 11 in past year for prefered or 11 in past 2 years for standard rates.

Monumental should take him. They may do a phi when they see the drugs show up, but so long as he has had fewer that 12 in the last 2 years, he should be OK for level benefits (assuming no other problems).;)
