For ACA? most likely nothing unless you find someone with a lot of money who is stupid. With ACA changes coming, ACA books will be worthless 12-24 months. Unless your a small independent agent, who did things the right way with actual Clients. You can thank all Florida call centers for this, spending millions of dollars to sign up people who are broke and homeless for $0. Good luck when plans renew for $5 premium under trump admin. These people will never see their money back.
That's correct . Aca books worthless . With new rules I expect 20-30% to be knocked off .

On the life/di/ltc side of the business. Its a 3x multiple for most situations.
Group Health is in the 3x range as well.
AUM can be more than that sometimes.

What type and kind of insurance are we talking about here? Describe the book you are asking about, What State, How Large, What are the clients like?
I'm going to assume this is the proposed rule they are talking about.

I agree. I see most of these as negatives for call centers and positives for local brokers.
Another thing to keep in mind is that any Medicaid cuts or expansion rollbacks are going to have a great impact on ACA brokers.
