I agree. I see most of these as negatives for call centers and positives for local brokers.

Another thing to keep in mind is that any Medicaid cuts or expansion rollbacks are going to have a great impact on ACA brokers

lol . What you're failing to realize is based on studies I've seen at the very least someone who was paying $100 a month will be paying $200 plus a month . That's assuming Trump doesn't gut even low income subsidies big . Just like Trump is firing federal workers,irs workers he could care less about low income people . We already know the enchanced subsidies won't be renewed . Also low income people now paying $100 surely won't pay $200 a month . The only thing these new rules will help is call centers won't be able to flip low income people every month

It also helps us reduce deficit spending. We truly are nearing the point of no return with our debt/deficit. And let's not blame the issues with ACA on Trump. The issues with ACA began when we had to pass the bill before we know what's in the bill.

I wouldn't be so sure that the expanded subsidies are going away. Trump can't change everything in his first year and it's hard to take away "free" from voters. I would think expanded subsidies are lower on his list than Medicaid expansion and Medicare reimbursements.

Obviously, I don't have a crystal ball but it wouldn't surprise me if things in the ACA stay as is for at least one more year
