Send Out Cards... Does It Work?

This morning they said you can send immediate but not with a future date.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy

Hmmm, I am unable to send anything. I tried going in and creating a card to send and it won't even let me create a card. I'm with VolAgent on this, they should have tested the new system behind the scenes while leaving the working site alone. Idiots!

I am about to just go to vista, design my own cards and purchase in bulk.
The one thing I didn't like is it took SOOOOO long to send the card out, so hopefully by doing it myself, I can put a nice stamp on it and have them a little bit more customizable.

What Justin Said......Very disappointed with SOC these days.....we have just ordered our first bulk batch with GotPrint.net and will be doing it again the old fashion way......Manual Labor.

Just got this update tonight.. will try again tomorrow to see if campaigns are really fixed.

The migration has been completed; however, the process did
cause unforeseen problems with the SOC system. We ask that you try
using your account again since most issues (such as logging in or
sending campaigns) have been fixed. We are aware that there are still
some issues with importing/exporting contacts, deleting reminders, uploading photos or
viewing card history and assure you that we are working hard to restore
full functionality. Work arounds and more information regarding these
issues can be found here: http://blog.sendoutcards.com/?p=4652.

Liar, liar pants on fire. Not you Chris, but the incompetent folks over at SOC. I did as the blog said and changed the send date to immediate and got the following error:

No cards will be sent with the campaign you have selected.

User ID#: 18154998
Campaign ID#: 3229042

Possible problems:

you don't have any cards associated with your campaign.
You have chosen a birthday campaign and your recipients don't have a birthday recorded.
You have chosen an anniversary campaign and your recipients don't have anniversary dates set.
You don't have sufficient funds in your expense account to cover the cost to send this campaign.

Note: this may also have been caused by an internal system error. Please try sending the campaign again. If you repeatedly get this message, please contact customer service and provide them with the user id and the campaign id listed above.

As of right now, I have 186 points and $22.07 in my account. One card is two points and $0.49. The card is in the campaign as it has been used multiple times. The clients do have birthdays listed. So my guess is it's the last note listed above, an internal error.

Sounds like I should wait to sign up with SOC through you if it doesn't work. I can't see paying $30 a month waiting for a fix!

Smart man. I'm about to suspend my account. This would be a perfect opportunity for a competitor to gain market share. I'd jump ship in a heart beat.

Yep. I would have already jumped on another one if it existed. I've never liked the MLM part of SOC and it cost me $200-300 to sign up a little over 5 years ago. I guess one can sign up for less now?

They have always been slow on sending the cards. I've kept using them because it's been easy.

Now that it's not so easy I may not continue.

I would think the powers that be at SOC are going to fix this problem. Hard to believe that after all these years they would let it go down the crapper. Maybe this "transition" is going to address the the issue of getting cards out faster?
I hope we can keep this thread alive with updates from you guys that are using SOC.
