Senior Dental

I have some clients asking me for this.... and so far the plan with Constitution seems legit, it's roughly 20$ a month for a maximum $1600 benefit per year, and there's no network. I kind of feel like I'm missing some major detail though.... anyone have experience with a GOOD senior dental plan?

Missing something like a waiting period on major work?

I am not familiar with Constitution, but other than DHMO's, almost every other insured dental plan has a 12 month waiting period. If they don't have a waiting period they use a graded benefit for major work.

The other thing to consider is, these plans don't pay a true 50%, 80%, etc.

They pay a percentage of what they consider a reasonable charge for the procedure.

But other than that, dental plans are wonderful.

Don't forget the $2/month commission.

There's a six month waiting period for type II services, 12 month waiting period for type 3. This plan doesn't pay a percentage split, rather it the client just pays X amount for whatever service, and the insurance pays the rest....

What I don't understand is how there is no network, what if a dentist won't take it?
