Senior Market Sales IMO

Does anyone have any experiences with the IMO, Senior Market Sales? If so, what are they? Is it a good place to start? I am looking for something that gives me some product support as I am looking into going out on my own instead of being a captive agent producer.

Thanks!

I wrote med-supps with AFLAC through them some years ago. They paid me the commission each month vs. AFLAC directly. I never had any problems with them.

This was a some years ago though.

Senior Market Sales are on of the better IMO's, mainly because when I asked for a release, they granted it. That shows they are honest. Commissions are basically at the street level.

I use Ritter at www.ritterim.com. Craig Ritter has forgotten more about Medicare than most people know.

Frank, is this something you provide from the goodness of your heart, or do you charge for it?

I've been doing out of the "goodness of my heart". I haven't charged for it yet but the day may be coming. I have talked to a lot of agents on the board and it is getting quite time consuming.

However, if an agent isn't using some kind of CRM most of what I suggest they do falls on deaf ears. And yes, I can do a much better job of teaching them how to prospect for and sell Med Supps if they are using my favorite CRM.

Since the senior market is going to literally explode in the next few years I'm thinking of not charging for it but offering it for free for agents using YIO. So, in essence the training will be free for all YIO users.

I've used SMS for the past year for some of my PFFS and Med Sup and so far...... they've been good.

They are always willing to help and my man Ryan calls me about once a month if I don't call him.

Give them a try.

I know the principals of SMS, and they are good people. Make sure you get a front-end release if you decide to do business with them.

P.S. I love the avatar............
