Senior Sales Leads

The problem in the senior market is that when AEP hits (or the month and a half prior to) all your carriers are blasting the senior population with mail, calls, TV and radio spots, etc.

In talking to other independent agents, they said their best success has been telemarketing.

All your major carriers are buying the same names you are. So, you have to make yourself stand out.

Since I am now becoming an independent, I am going to have to do the same thing.

Selling insurance is work. The really successful agents are the ones who are willing to work hard at it and learn how prospect and generate their own leads.

I am begining to believe you on this one.

Run away from telemarketing21.com and medicareadvantageleads.com. (same company) Trust me on this one. The first 8 "preset appointments" had 6 tell me they never said yes to an appointment, 1 was not even a viable address (of course they never answered the phone) and the other was afraid to answer the door. (2 cars in the driveway)

Sad company.
