Studies I have seen done with more than 2 months between found that they believed that the nofollow links had the same amount of weight as follow, and that too many follow probably caused a sandbox effect in google, and all that a follow link did differently was caused faster indexing.

Feel free to research it yourself if you don't believe that.

Too many follow links as a % appear to be someone spamming links.

site 2- 4% (for the first 100 backlinks.....too long to load 5k backlinks)
site 3- 20% (only showed 18 backlinks)
site 4-7%
site 5- 0 (first 200 backlinks)

I'd imagine closest to the middle is the best, and having variation so it appears completely natural.

I would tell it to look for people with over 85% follow, and assume they're cheating.

Sam is the man. Also, if you have the FF plug-in, you can tell. FireFox 4 just has to be tweaked a bit to use the plugin.
