Servicing Health Clients

Thanks guys so much for sharing. Most of my businesses are from LI and annuity and I thought adding Health would be a good idea (considering the renewals and no cut from the agency).

What kind of help could I offer in canceling the old coverage? (I thought the client could just call and say 'Please cancel my policy and refund any premium')

If i roll a client from one plan to the next, meaning i'm the agent on the old policy I wil get the client to fax me a signed letter stating such.. i then handle it with the ins co.... i dont feel then need to be messing with this stuff.

also, had a few in the past than never called to cancel

I have about 3 hours a day of service work. This consits of claims, admin & policy issue.
I have a block of both indiviudal and group health.

You have to stay on top of it and after awhile you build key contacts at the insurance companies to speed up things.

Anyone can sell a policy but to give good service will set you apart from the others.

Yea I was high when I wrote that (and couple others).
