Setting Appt Tips

I like to travel to different areas every week and its hard to mail cards to all of these areas. Tele leads are fast, fresh, and i can order for where ever i am wanting to work that week. But nothing wrong with dm leads either, i just prefer tele.

I believe that you were asked in a prior post "who you use for tele-leads...?"

You seemed to explain "why you prefer to use them over DM leads" instead of addressing the actual question. Good enuf reason though...

I use aicleads.com btw ive reponded to all the people that messaged me. I have nothing to hide :) i dont sell leads nor recruit, so you can ask me anything. I dont mind sharing

Ive heard them to be good, but Ive never used them!!

TDFnCali, do you see the ratio of leads/appointments of TM leads lower than direct mail leads. How much?

Are u asking if I can set more appts on tele leads then DM...if so, yes! The % of appts on tele leads is greater then DM...but there's pros & cons to both! Im finding I like a mix of each!

Tele leads are great if you can call back the next day and get them on the phone to set an appointment. The thing I like about DM is that you always have the card with their writing on it, I think the lead lasts longer.
Perhaps your right, a mix will do..

"It'll only take 10 minutes for me to sit down with you to figure out what you might be able to qualify for. I've got a spot open at 10 and 2, which one works best for you?"

I agree with the Nut. This is a BS line that no one really believes.

I do things differently from most on this forum, and it is not just because I rarely do F2F any more.

Most of what I need to find out in qualifying them can be done by phone before I ever get in my car. Never believed in the philosophy of showing up (with or without an appointment) and trying to make them buy.

Either they have a need or they don't.

They have a desire to buy your product or they don't.

They can afford it or not.

They can qualify (medically) or they can't.

You really don't need to know anything else before getting in your car unless you just like playing a game with yourself.

The answer to every one of those questions can be learned in 10 minutes on the phone.

If they won't give you 10 phone minutes why will it be any different when you get to their house?

Well get out here in the FE business and try that. You will change your tune pretty quickly.

Just for your information . . .

I sold mortgage life insurance in the past, in some pretty crummy neighborhoods. Did pretty well, but only after doing it my way and telling my manager to f*ck off.

I sold plenty of MP and the two markets are in no way similar.

Has nothing to do with the neighborhoods. It's the market.

If you are to qualify by phone then you should just do the entire appointment by phone. That is a failed model all by itself but you can't halfway do this.

I had this same conversation with Readen over a year ago and he was wanting to qualify some, or a lot, over the phone.

He will say the same now that I say. He said then what you are saying now.
