Setting up informal sales event, multiple carriers

Anyone have experience with this? It's like what some have experienced working under an FMO that sets up with multiple carriers.
I don't know if each of the carriers where the event is registered needs to know if other carriers will be represented also.
This of course doesn't work for a formal sales event which has to be for a specific plan.
