I attended another HC Reform seminar and reviewed material on how many uninsureds would be coming into the system. Based on the Massachusetts model we have a real problem. Those waiting it out to buy health insurance will have a tough time getting into a GP. They'll have to line up at the walk-in clinic and the ER. Having health insurance won't mean access to care.

That was inevitable the day the conversation in Washington changed from "health care reform" to "health insurance reform". This was straight from Obama himself. Bet most people didn't notice the subtle difference (wordwise) in that statement. A HUGE difference in reality. I noticed it immediately and thought, okay here we go, the whole debate, and subsequent laws coming out of it, is going to be a bunch of crap because you can't reform one piece of the problem and expect it to get fixed. It sure is easy to vilify an industry people hate to start with.

Mitt is much better prepared this time around but not sure he is a match for the cage match tactics that will be rolled out by the Chicago Mafia.

Perry is untested in debates on the national level but is possibly better equipped to deal with O than Romney.

Bachmann is a fading star. By the end of Sept this will essentially be a 2 person race at best.
