I new to insurance and wondering if I went independent would it be better to use a GA general agent to help set things up,Are they worth it and is the pay plan alot different. Is there another way to get help starting or is GA good place to start.
What are some of the good ones to check into.

How will you get appointed if you do not use a GA or a MGA? In seeing that you are new I will let you slide.

You will have to contract with a MGA or GA of some sort. There is only a handful of companies that will allow you to contract with them directly. In knowing Todd; he will be able to help you; providing that you want his help.

I am looking at Life and Health and P&C. I would like to talk with some GA's to see what they have to offer , but I am not sure of the best place to find them and which ones are good, being new I don't want to be mislead just straight answers.

You can give me a call and I'll be happy to talk with you. I do shoot straight answers even if you don't like what you hear. I look forward to hearing from you and the questions you may have.
