Just Looking professional does not cut it.

First step in building a website.

Understand good Keyword Research and how to target all relevant searched phrases in your niche market that will deliver the most relevant traffic to your site.

Dont guess or just Title Your Pages and build content with your thoughts, or creative ideas.

You cannot create Traffic or Searches no matter how hard you try. Each page of your website should be targeted around your "Core" keyword Searched Phrases with the relevant unique content.

Use the above website as a perfect example, Great looking site, very professional, and honestly not picking on this site, I see this about 99% of the time.

1 Major Problem. The Home page is titled "Georgia Insurance Options". By using this Title, your are telling the Search Engines this website is about "Georgia Insurance Options" sounds logical, and we know people want to know about Georgia Insurance Options available to them. Very Relevant Information.

Problem, Unique Searches for the term "Georgia Insurance Options" (0)

Yes, you may rank well for this term, and its probably very impressive to your family members and friends and peers.

But is this site targeting the correct Keyword Phrases that is generating the majority of searches every single day for relevant georgia insurance information and producing sales? yes I am sure people find the site, but thats not the key.

The main term if your targeting Georgia health Insurance, is obviously "Georgia Health Insurance" which receives roughly 12,200 searches per month in Google alone.

This is obviously a great term to rank for and if you do, I am sure your site is doing very well, but what about all the other relevant terms that people are searching for related to Georgia health insurance? Target the Whole Market.

The importance of proper Keyword Research and understanding how to structure your website and its pages to target and rank for all these relevant terms I cannot stress enough.

Seriously, your keyword tags do nothing for your site, Your better off leaving them out, Google does not pay attention to keyword tags, and has not for several years. I still dont understand why people still use this meta tag.
