Grandview Speedway is 60 years old. I'm now 55, and my memories of Grandview go back as long as I can remember. My dad raced here, and his number was "181." Why 181? He was upside down so often he wanted my graandmom to know it was him whther he was wheels down or wheels up.

I had no idea that the track was founded just 5 years before I was born. I though there had always been Grandview, going all the way back to the days when @rousemark used to race chariots.
