Site Ground Problems!

One of my websites is hosted by Site ground. For the last two days, it has been down about 50% of the time. And I notice the ENTIRE Siteground website is down.

So I assume that every website they host is not working. Perhaps time to get rid of Site ground...

By the way...the name was separated to avoid links.

My other sites are with Midphase and GoDaddy and no problems there. Maybe just luck.

Months ago I mentioned that SiteGround sucks and anyone who can should run away from them... But, my comment was deleted.

Not that I'm saying it now, just recalling a past statement.

I have a program that requires the sql database thing. They keep the website and the database on two different servers and it is really slow most of the day. They keep telling me because I'm on a shared server that this will happen very often. When I use the same program on gkg.net or another hosting company, I don't have this problem. I dont have a lot of demand or traffic on the program but I want them to work like the other hosting site do.

The tech support sucks at godaddy.. No 1800 number and long wait to speak to someone that don't always speak English or cares.

They are okay if you dont need a sql database or have just a simple website.

If you request direct database access when installing a new SQL database they'll put you on another row of servers. A faster row.

As for no English, I've used them and resold GoDaddy since 2004 and never spoke to a non-American. Maybe they see you calling and say "oh noes!".
