Biggest POS company I've ever been contracted with. And they stole from me.

Here's why I say they stole from me.I wrote one policy with them two years ago on their home service side. This is the only person I have written for them and it is still in force. They sent me a notice that said I owed them 70.00. I have spoke with different people in the company and nobody to date has told what it was for. Maybe a small amount of money but I'd like to know what it's for as the policy is still on the books. I still collect her and they are taking my service commission to pay back the debt.
If he paid the premium for a year then the comissions were earned. Don't know how they justify the chg back. Here's why I say they stole from me.
I wrote a guy 2 and a half years ago a $20K policy. About $100/mo.
A year into it he wanted to reduce the face to $10K. SNL made it way more difficult than it needed to be but they did it and reduced the face and premium.
A month later they charged me back half the commission they had paid.
I contacted them and asked. They said because he reduced the face I was overpaid. So I said, "ok, are you refunding the premium to him?"
They said no, he was covered for $20K and paid the proper premium.
I asked what they were doing with that money. Keeping it.
I got my upline involved and they would not talk to them. They refused to talk to me anymore about it either.
I left a half dozen messages with the bow tie guy but he never contacted me.
I mentioned it on here and a representative of SNL contacted me thru private messages here.
He was going to get it resolved. Last August he contacted me and said they would use the money to pay his policy up however long it would or they would send him a refund.
The guy wanted a refund. The SNL rep said he would take care of it. I told my client they would send him a check. It was around $600.
He never got the check. I contacted the guy thru PM here. He said he no longer worked for SNL.
I contacted SNL again. I told them this story. They claimed they could find no records of any such agreement nor was that person authorized to make such an offer.
I tried calling the guy. He wouldn't call me back. I sent him messages thru here and he did not respond.
Others might not call that stealing.
I call it stealing.
He did pay. They never made the argument that he didn't. They just stole the money. If he paid the premium for a year then the comissions were earned. Don't know how they justify the chg back.
I really liked them back in the TO days but they have been steadily going downhill. Would not reccomend anyone contracting with them.
Yeah... they know you won't sue over that amount. He did pay. They never made the argument that he didn't. They just stole the money.
Just because they can.
