Had another walk in yesterday! Hopefully word of mouth is starting to spread and I will start to get busy! Joys of working in a town of 500!

I want to give you a couple of ideas (I like "nubbies"). Send me a quick note to [email protected] (no funny stuff, no phishing - I manage an office and I train my people to think outside of the box.

yeah...AND...do you have anything else insured that we can bundle together? If they say no, GREAT. If they say yes but I am happy, say "I understand and I value loyalty...but wouldn't you like to know that your satisfaction includes knowing for sure that you already have the lowest rates around? I know I would like the opportunity to try and save you a few bucks if I can - and if nothing else, then I educate myself to better serve our community."

Good job on your first sale. Go get the next!

L&H test here wasn't too bad. Some time to study and some $ for materials, extra E&O, fees, etc...

An agent friend of mine just brokered a life policy for a farmer up by LeMars. Son wanted the farm, daughter didn't but still wanted her share of the inheritance. Crafted a life policy to fund it, son pays daughter, farm stays in the family, everyone's happy. Decent commission for my pal. Could be a niche for you up there?

Do not depend just upon word of mouth. Get out and tell people what you do. Drink coffee at the dinner or wherever people hang out. This is especially good on bad weather days because the farmers will be in town.
